Yesterday gray, today bright orange.
Yesterday fierce cold, today heat warming my heart.
Yesterday was January, Today welcome June.
Yesterday wintry white for miles,
Today only green luscious canvas with splashes of yellow, red and pink.
The earth beneath my feet screaming with delight
As the carpet of green and drapes of new season surrounds me.
How can one not be with nature
when the scream of renewal can be heard so loud for miles.
My heart fled with glee as I visit my garden each morning.
To touch the new blooms of white roses,
To see as each plant greets with new growth
,
I must truly be insane but simple joy in my heart
is a million dreams revisited!
“Happy Spring to all!”
It’s spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you’ve got it, you want – oh, you don’t quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so! ~Mark Twain
if I only have june in my life

sometimes I wish it was june all year round
have you ever wondered what it would be like
just to bask at the warmth of the new spring sun
to walk barefoot in one’s garden
and witness all of nature’s glory
oh so sweet, so sweet my rose garden shows
for not one but an abundance of white
parading against the lush green canvas
but then I will miss the red, yellow, blue and purple
for they soon will show in July, August and September

My rose garden is now three years old. I am glad now that I heeded away from all the horrors I’ve read about the hardship of maintaining a rose garden. My hobby of photography led me to this new passion. I never knew how I have been captivated by floral photography until now. It’s funny isn’t it how one passion can lead us into many others. As a result of this new obsession, I thought I’d share the beauty of these white roses before it’s demise. What can I say? It simply takes my breath away. I will be posting the other colors as the new season progresses.
here is a quote for today:
